Tucceri's Win Over No. 5 Mosley Highlights Cornell's 20-12 Win Over Harvard ITHACA, N.Y. - Senior Joe Tucceri (Euclid, Ohio), ranked 16th in the country at 174 pounds by the Amateur Wrestling News, upset fifth-ranked Ed Mosley at 184 Friday evening, leading Cornell to a 20-12 victory over Harvard at the Newman Arena.

Senior heavyweight Seth Charles (Schuyler Falls, N.Y.), ranked 10th in the nation, started the match off with a 5-3 decision over Dawid Rechul. Senior Aaron Taylor (Sewell, N.J.) put the Big Red (9-4 overall, 3-1 Ivy League) up 6-0 with a 6-4 victory in overtime at 125 pounds. After Matt Picarsic defeated junior Sean Doyle (Wheeling, W.Va.) at 133, senior Ben New (Canastota, N.Y.) recorded an 8-0 major decision over Nick Picarsic at 141 to put Cornell up 10-3.

Senior 157-pounder Leo Urbinelli (Ontario, N.Y.), ranked 17th by AWN, gave the Big Red a 14-6 lead. The Crimson (5-5, 1-2) had cut the Cornell lead to four points, 10-6, after Max Odom recorded a 7-4 decision over junior Alex Berman (Tel-mond, Israel) at 149 pounds. Harvard closed to within two points at 14-12, after Kevin Kurtz beat senior John Fogarty (Nescopek, Pa.) 3-1 in overtime at 165 and fifth-ranked Joey Killar decisioned junor Jim Stanec (St. Louis, Mo.) 8-2 at 174 pounds.

The Big Red needed a victory from Tucceri and he didn't disappoint, posting a 5-3 win over Mosley as both wrestlers moved up one weight class. Tucceri's victory gave Cornell a 17-12 lead heading into the final bout, where senior 197-pounder Bob Greenleaf (Kirkwood, Pa.) handled Brad Soltis by a score of 8-1.

Cornell will return to action Saturday, Feb. 12, when it entertains Brown at 2 p.m. at the Newman Arena. The Bears come to Ithaca with a 7-8 record, after beating Columbia 29-15 Friday afternoon in New York City.
