WPIAL High School Wrestler of the Year for the 2009 Season

At the conclusion of each wrestling season, WrestlingReport.com selects its Ronald L Garrison WPIAL High School Wrestler of the Year. This annual recognition will go to the top senior high school wrestler in the WPIAL.

WrestlingReport, under the direction of Bruce Closson, announced  on March 15 at the Dapper Dan Wrestling Classic. This years selection for WPIAL High School Wrestler of the Year going to Hempfield's Jake Kemerer and Keystone Oaks' Anthony Zanetta.

Coached by Vince DeAugustine,  Jake Kemerer had an outstanding record of 174-21 winning 2 PIAA championship and 2 WPIAL championships. Kemerer will be attending Oklahoma University.

Coached by Brian Hutchin, Anthony Zanetta  had a superb record was 155-14  winning 2 PIAA championship and 2 WPIAL championships. Anthony will be attending the University of Pittsburgh
